Advisory Member of Space- A Foundation for Peace & Care

Sanaiyya Faheem Ansari

A Lawyer, Human Rights Activist, and Freelance Consultant with 30 years of experience in Human Rights and Gender issues. Sanaiyya Faheem Ansarihas been in the human development field for more than 25 years, she served ASK (Ain o Salish Kendra) at various tiers as Senior Deputy Director-Gender and Social Justice up to 2016, Executive Director of Network for Research and Training (NRT),engaged with number of professional institutions nationally and internationally.

Monjun Nahar

Mount has spent 22 years in the development sector and has in-depth knowledge of reproductive health issues. She has expertise and experience in gender and advocacy, developing media partnerships and media advocacy, and providing training within national and international agencies. Before joining Marie Stopes Bangladesh, she was an Advocacy and Communication Coordinator at the Network of Non-Mainstreamed Marginalized Communities (NNMC).

Sayeed Ahmed

Sayeed Ahmad is the Regional Coordinator for South-East Asia and the Pacific region. Before joining Front Line Defenders, Sayeed Ahmad had worked with Asian Forum for Human Rights and Development (FORUM-ASIA) as the Program Manager for Asia Program and also as the Director (Programs).

Hana Shams Ahmed

A doctoral candidate of social anthropology at York University with an MA in sociocultural anthropology from the University of Western Ontario, Canada, and an MA in development studies from BRAC University, Bangladesh. She previously worked as the Assistant Editor of the Forum, a monthly news magazine of The Daily Star, and as a Feature Writer for The Star, a weekly magazine of The Daily Star.

Zema Mirza

Zema Mirza is a global health leader with over a decade of experience managing $120M donor-funded programs across Africa and Asia. Her expertise spans gender-responsive programming, community-led approaches, and culturally informed strategies that advance health equity. Skilled in project management and stakeholder engagement, she has collaborated with governments, NGOs, donors, and international partners to drive sustainable outcomes.

Purabi Talukder

Purabi Talukder is the Co-Founder and chairperson of the Space-A Foundation for peace & Care. A development professional for 15 years and a Human rights defender. A project management specialist of the development sector with proven experience in the area of Gender, SRHR, Youth leadership, Child Marriage Prevention, Human rights and development issues reaching out for millions of beneficiaries across the country. Have worked for 14 years, 6 years on program management with number of reputed NGOs in Bangladesh. Currently She is Working for gender justice and Human rights at YWCA as a Project ,Manager.

Ilira Dewan:

Ilira Dewan is the vice-chairperson of the Space-A Foundation for Peace& Care. A development professional for 20 years, Indigenous rights activist, and writer. She is working in CHT commission for Indigenous people’s rights.

Moshfec Ara

Moshfec Ara is the Co-Founder and General Secretary of the Space-A Foundation for Peace & Care. She is A development professional, working for human rights, and gender inclusion. Working as an executive Director of Space – A Foundation for Peace & Care. 14 years of development experience in Gender, Human Rights, SRHR, Sexuality, Peace, family laws, VAW, legal aid services, gender diverse populations, and documentation of human rights violations cases, child marriage prevention, and community-based capacity-building activities.

Mossamat Nahar Banu

Treasurer of the Space-A Foundation for Peace& Care. A development professional for 15 years, and a Human rights activist. Working as an accountant for the Association for Land Reform and Development. 

Taslima Miji

Executive member of the Space-A Foundation for Peace& Care. A leather goods producer, supplier and exporter based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. She founded a company Leatherina Pvt Ltd in 2016 where she manufactured sustainable, ethical, high-end leather bags, shoes and promotional items for renowned brands and corporates.

Dil Afroz Akter

Executive member of the Space-A Foundation for Peace& Care. She have 15 years of experience in the development sector. Currently, she is working as a freelance consultant in the fields of Gender, human rights, Occupational Health and safety, International Compliance Standards, Labour Law, and Human Resource Management.

Munmun Reefat

Executive member of the Space-A Foundation for Peace & Care. Head, Bangla Language Institute at Independent University, Bangladesh, and a mental health professional.

Marzia Hasan Prova is a human rights defender, and has 5 years of experience in gender and SRHR. Currently working for BAPSA as a Gender officer.

Shanjida Khan Ripa

Ms Shanjida Khan Ripa is working with the Association for Land Reform and Development(ALRD) as its Program Coordinator since 2012.

Tasnuva Anan Shishir

Tashnuva Anan (she/her) is a young transgender human rights activist and theatre worker from Bangladesh. She became the first transgender news anchor in Bangladesh, shattering the glass barrier of gender discrimination and paving the way for other transgender individuals to pursue other mainstream occupations. She is the only Bangladeshi to hold a position on the ILGA World board.

Jesmin Dina

Sharif Hossen Chowdhury

Sharif Hossen Chowdhury is a freelance blogger and human rights defender.  Currently, he is working with a senior protection assistant. Community-based protection unit (UNHCR), Cox Bazar.

The program officer at space – A foundation for peace and care. She’s skilled in digital tools, office management, and youth-centered programming. She has served as a president in her local organization, where she developed strong leadership and coordination skills.  she blends her leadership background and technical expertise to create meaningful impact.

Fatamatuz Zohura Sathi

Fatamatuz Zohura Sathi, Program Officer at space – A foundation for peace and care, experienced in healthcare, research, and community development. Skilled in project management, data collection, and digital marketing, dedicated to creating sustainable social impact.
